A Weekend at the World Cup: Soldier Hollow 2026

The World (Cup) came to Utah in September 2026 for the UCI mountain bike world cup series, and Feedback Sports was there. Featuring the best XCO (cross-country) and XCC (short track) athletes from around the world, this event was not to be missed!

The race venue at Soldier Hollow was spectacular. Tucked in a natural bowl with challenging terrain features yet excellent visibility of the entire course, the zone lends itself to competitive athletics. Held in mid-September, the surrounding mountains glowed with fall color.

Feedback Sports made the 8-hour drive with our event expo setup and a selection of our favorite tools. We also brought extra repair stands and some prototype tools to share with the professional mechanics visiting from around the globe.

The fans and the racing were spectacular. The attending athletes clearly brought their "A-game," storming around the course.

The Utah high school mountain bike league boasts over 7000 student-athletes. By the looks of the crowds around the course, most of those riders made the trip to watch the race. Energy was high and the crowds were enthusiastic. From our vantage point at the Feedback Sports expo tent, we could watch portions of the race and also speak to folks in the crowd. We met fans from all over the United States, many of whom had driven for days to reach the event.

Possibly the most rewarding part of our experience was chatting with pro mechanics for the various teams. We sponsor Trek-Unbroken, Specialized Factory Racing, Thomus Maxon, and others. Yet our products were visible in the paddocks of many other teams as well. Mechanics stopped at our tent to buy tools to take back to their home countries.

We're always honored to be chosen by professional mechanics. High school teams, coaches and athletes also value our products for the events they host.

At the end of the weekend, we felt like our connection to the cycling community at every level had been reinforced. From pros to student athletes, Feedback Sports is made for riders who value lightweight, portable, and compact, travel-friendly designs, yet demand durability, precision, and function.
